What ages is Bookaroo for?

Bookaroo is made for children ages 4 to 8. Pip the bookworm takes kids from letter sounds to reading little sentences in about 15 minutes a day.

What is the parent gate?

Settings and links that leave the app sit behind a quick grown-up check, so children can't change settings or open websites on their own.

Does my child need an account?

No. Children never make accounts or sign in.

What information do you collect?

None from your child. There are no ads and no tracking, and progress stays on your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Can I move progress to a new device?

Progress is saved only on the device your child uses, not on our servers, so we can't move it to a new device for you. On a new device, your child can start Bookaroo again and quickly work back to where they were.

How do I reset or remove my child's progress?

Deleting the app from the device removes all saved progress.

Something isn't working

Try closing and reopening the app and making sure it's up to date in the App Store or Google Play. If that doesn't fix it, email [email protected] and we'll help.
